Medical Information on Minoxidil

This treatment contains a solo active ingredient, Minoxidil 5% in a fast-absorbing, alcohol-free hydrogel designed to reactivate dormant follicles, boost circulation at the scalp, and support thicker, fuller regrowth from the root.

How does it work?
-Improves blood flow to the scalp and stimulates hair follicles to re-enter the growth (anagen) phase.
-Supports increased hair density and stronger hair strands over time.

How do I apply it?

-Apply once daily (preferably at night) to clean, dry scalp
-Use 0.5 to 1 mL (as advised) directly to the affected areas
-Gently massage using clean fingertips
-Avoid washing your hair for at least 4 hours after application
-Wash hands thoroughly after use
 

When Will I See Results?

Weeks 1–4: You may experience some initial shedding – this is normal and temporary 

Weeks 6–12: Early signs of regrowth may begin

Months 3–6: Noticeable thickening and improved hair texture

Months 9–12: Optimal results typically reached with consistent daily use
 

What do I need to avoid?

Do not apply to broken, irritated, or inflamed skin

Do not use alcohol-based scalp products

Avoid getting the product in your eyes or on facial skin

Avoid abruptly stopping treatment - this may cause reversal of progress
 

Are there any side effects?

-Mild redness or scalp dryness

Can I use other hair products?
Yes. Please wait at least 30 minutes after applying Minoxidil before applying oils, serums, or styling products.

Can I style or colour my hair?
Yes – though we advise avoiding application on the same day as chemical treatments (e.g. colouring or perming).

Will I need to use this forever?
Minoxidil works while it is used consistently. Ongoing use is recommended to maintain results and prevent further thinning.
